Harnessing the Cloud

Over the last two years much has been written about Cloud computing and as a topic it has divided both software users and vendors. Driven by the need to continue to deliver efficiency and cost savings to our customers, we have looked at ways in which we can help businesses reduce the time and costs normally associated with implementations. One of the ways that this can be done is providing deployment through the Cloud (also called Software as a Service or SAAS). This deployment method means that instead of having to have the software installed on an individual machine or investing in new hardware equipment (servers) at the start of the project, you can opt to have the software hosted by us and pay for this in the form of a monthly fee. This results in several benefits including:

• Lower start up cost for new projects
• Faster deployment times
• Ability to scale the solution more easily according to need
• Less requirement for skilled in-house resource
• Steady predictable monthly outgoings in terms of costs

The software provided under our Cloud offering is what is termed “multi-tenant”, this means it is fully secured and contains your data but the core functionality that you get is standard. If you are interested in achieving these benefits but need a more customised or bespoke system then our managed service or on-premise options (not hosted option) may be more suitable.
